Uganda
Breathtaking Landscapes with Endangered Mountain Gorillas & Chimpanzees
Remote + Untouched
Uganda is a beautiful country known as “The Pearl of Africa” and at a more reasonable price point, Uganda is one of East Africa’s best kept secrets. It boasts a spectacular array of landscapes from snow-capped mountains and savannah to lush swampland and impenetrable forests.
Uganda is a great destination for primate and adventure seekers where you can partake in gorilla trekking, game viewing, hiking, chimpanzee tracking, boat excursions, white water rafting and cultural diversity.
An ancient rain forest, the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park extends over a series of steep ridges in the Virunga Volcanoes mountain range. Declared a UNESCO world heritage site due to its ecological uniqueness and natural beauty, roughly half of the world’s total gorilla population live in this park. Uganda is one of only three places left on Earth to track these endangered mountain gorillas.
Witnessing “gorillas in the mist” is an experience of a lifetime that only a few ever experience which makes Uganda the perfect safari destination.
Best time to travel: December – February & June – October
